Rhodesian Ridgeback Breeding & Whippets

I'd like to introduce you to my life companions, my daily allies, those who make my life richer and more beautiful and the ones I try to live up to.

The story
of my breeding

How can I talk about my passion for Rhodesian Ridgeback without starting at the beginning!

I'm not going to say that this is the dog of my life, there have been so many others... My first for my 7th birthday. There will be several different breeds, each with specific characters, colors and sizes. Dogs who accompanied me, supported me, made me happy.

The Rhodesian was first of all a legend for me. Having lived in South Africa for several years, I have never come across one and yet have heard of it: “the crested lion hunter!” »

I later rediscovered it in the West Indies and it was a revelation: one day, I will have my Rhodesian!

And so, as life went on, he became my favorite dog, the one who will never leave me and for whom I threw myself into the exciting and hard work of breeding!

Of all the dogs I've had, this is the one that suits me best. A mixture of temperament and gentleness, strength, determination and intelligence. Calm and energy depending on the situation, great sensitivity. It's up to you to earn his trust, prove yourself, treat him with respect and he will return it to you a hundredfold.

The Whippets have been with me since I was 19. The desire to have a dog that was not too big, calm, affectionate, gentle, versatile and who could follow me everywhere led me to acquire my first male in 1992 and to enter the world of exhibitions as well as to do my 1st litter. Since then they have practically always accompanied me.

Sighthounds are often criticized but the whippet is above all a fabulous athlete with iron health, solid and impressive with his musculature.

Their speed and agility are breathtaking!!

I'm allways remain in awe of their frantic runs

This whole pack of Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Whippets get along wonderfully. They live as a family, at home with my children, in the middle of the Landes forest. They regularly accompany us in different activities and some in exhibitions.

I don't do many litters and being passionate about genetics, they are all thought through seriously.
